'Nothing', 'Whatever' and 'Fine' may sound like ordinary words, but they are not. Here's what they actually signify
If your girlfriend or wife says 'nothing' when asked if something is wrong, be careful. Watch her tone. If she sounds annoyed, don't believe her — everything is not okay. On the contrary, something is up and you are in trouble. If her tone is casual and friendly, you can sit back and relax.
We need to talk
Nothing gets you more worked up than hearing your significant other utter these four words. You can't help but go back in time to figure out where you erred, and what you could have done wrong. In simple words, it means you are in trouble.
This word pops up very frequently in a woman's vocabulary. Men often make the mistake of taking it lightly. But it's actually a way of telling you to go to hell.
Wow and Really
When your girlfriend or wife uses the word 'wow', please do not think it is a compliment. She is only amazed that a person could be so stupid. Another word that falls into this bracket is, 'really'. Often, this word is not used as a question. It is also just her way of marvelling at your stupidity.
With their teeth clenched, this word is used by women to end an argument. She thinks she is right and feels you need to shut up. But instead of voicing that aloud, she will end it with the word 'fine' because she is in no mood to discuss the topic further and knows that you are not about to give in.
Just because she has said 'it's okay', it needn't be. The words may sound comforting, but that does not mean you are out of the woods. Chances are, she is thinking long and hard on how and when you will pay for your mistake(s).
